getting involved
we must focus on the demand for technique, innovation and mastery of concept, that will secure our position of global leadership.  Our unique multicultural American heritage, is comprised of every culture on the planet.  We must not be afraid to venture forward and let go of those actions that burden our progress.
We can not afford to disenfranchise ourselves via "grandfather clauses", "land ownership", "felonious acts".  Uniqueness of language can't prevent availability of printed, comprehensive and informational matter.
If we can fight abroad for the right to vote of others, how dare we obstruct our own voting process!
If some think "oh it's not really that serious".  There is at present, congressional conversation, advocacy, lobby and proposal to change federal policy and deny citizenship to babies born in the U.S. to illegal immigrants.  This "birthright citizenship" issue provided in the Constitution's 14th Amendment, is to be addressed by federal legislation.  States are enacting more restrictive and penalizing legislation.

"We can't say the best way for this lobby to be done other than "hard-copy".   Some suggestions are offered and, if you suggest via the guestbook or email, we'll certainly post it in the adjoining section.
Thanks!"

  • Find out what laws your state put into effect to dilute the  XV Amendment.  Note the laws in your letter and how you feel about them. Let your elected representative know what you want done to/with these laws and, this type of legislation.
  • A letter with numerous signatures.  Pages and pages of signatures.
  • A form letter just needing the Individual's signature
  • Multiple letters can be mailed to the same elected person in the same envelope.  [You can't mail to multiple elected persons in the same envelope.  Yup, we tried and found out each addressee needs to have a stamp on their envelope.]
  • Competitions to see who can get the most letters to Congress.
  • Presence at social, religious, community activities to gain signatures and establish positive networking  ties.

  • We will follow up to find how success was accomplished and give email and "snail mail" addresses of the sponsoring organized entities.  Don't forget, this is no longer a "black thing".
